In other words, you get a real insight that no job interview can give you.

A temp assignment can give you a better sense of which tasks and environments you thrive in. For some temps, it becomes clear that they want to continue in the same direction. Others discover new opportunities they hadn’t even considered. Either way, it strengthens you when you apply for permanent work. You have concrete experience and know what you’re saying yes to.

Companies see it the same way. A temp who fits in and performs well is an obvious candidate for the next permanent position. It’s a safer hire than a job posting with a lot of unknown applicants. Both parties already know each other, making the transition to a permanent contract easier and more natural for everyone involved.
