1. Can I decide when I want to work?

Yes, you decide 100% when you want to work.

2. How much do I get paid?

You are paid an hourly wage when you are out on a temporary basis.

We pay according to the collective agreement that the company follows. So your salary will differ from company to company.

3. What do I do if I find another job myself?

You have no notice of termination with us. We just need to be notified and we will make you inactive in our system.

4. When will I get paid?

5. Can I perhaps get a permanent job through Jysk Vikarservice if I work as a temporary worker?

Yes, it happens to many of our temporary workers. Many companies want to see how you handle your tasks and not least how you fit into the team before they offer you a permanent job.

6. How can I see how many hours I have worked?

You can access our app “Jysk Vikarservice”. There you can see your hours, you can be offered other temporary jobs and you can note the days on which you would like to take time off.

8. How do I delete my profile at Jysk Vikarservice?

You send us an email or call us and we will make sure to delete your profile.

9. Can I get hold of Jysk Vikarservice at the weekend?

Yes you can. At the weekend, we have an on-call phone that you can use in case you have to call in sick or cancel a shift.

10. When do I have to give notice that I cannot come to work if I am in temporary work?

You need to do this as soon as possible, because we need to spend time finding a replacement for you, so that the company will not be without a substitute.

11. What should I do if I am not available for a period of time?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not available due to vacation, illness or other appointments. This way, we can update your profile and only contact you about tasks that fit your schedule and current situation.

12. Do I need previous experience to work as a temp?

Not necessarily. Some roles require specific skills or experience, while others are a good fit for candidates who are stable, flexible and ready to learn quickly on the job.

13. How soon can I start a temporary job?

It depends on the job and when you are available. In some cases, you can start at short notice if your profile matches the company’s needs.

14. Can temping help me build experience?

Yes, temping can give you practical experience, strengthen your CV and improve your chances of finding new jobs later on.

15. Can temping make me more attractive to employers later on?
